Over the coming weeks, CABFISHMAN will host a series of webinars focusing on the development of tools in support of small-scale fisheries management in the Northeast Atlantic. Contributing to the project’s Tool Development activity, participants are encouraged to share ideas on the development of the management resources that will ultimately be produced as part of CABFISHMAN’s core outputs. So that area-specific information may gathered from each of our five participatory countries, the series will see representatives from the UK, Ireland, France, Portugal, and Spain hosting one webinar each.
Focusing specifically on the UK, speakers will give an assessment of the economic and cultural significance of small-scale fisheries in the Northeast Atlantic.
Presented in Spanish, the event will focus on the total value of small-scale fisheries in the Northeast Atlantic, encompassing fisheries' significance to local culture, economy, and food provision.
With a particular focus on small-scale fisheries in France, this meeting will address fisheries' significance in terms of cultural and economic value, and food provision. The event with be hosted in French, with talks delivered in English.
