A core aim of CABFISHMAN’s work is to ensure that Northeast Atlantic small-scale fisheries are managed in a way that represents their true value, looking further than their economic potential and capacity for food provision to account for the rich tapestry of natural and cultural heritage that they provide. To contribute to CABFISHMAN’s Fisheries Natural and Cultural Heritage work, applicants are invited to submit their proposal for an online survey that will collate an economic assessment of the natural and cultural heritage of small-scale fisheries in the EU’s Atlantic Area. Funded by European Regional Development Fund and facilitated by the University of Huelva, applications should be submitted no later than 18th June 2021.
