Stakeholder involvement is important in improving decision making and enabling effective co-management. This report reviews existing research around the key drivers of stakeholder perceptions and how they can influence decision making. Using case studies, it explores the factors that impact stakeholder perception, and looks at examples of instances in which these perceptions have directly influence SSF management and policy.
