The harmonization and standardization of methods to estimate fishing effort and other key factors is a challenge felt across European countries. As part of our work to enhance innovation in SSF, this report synthesises CABFishMan’s work to review, harmonise and analyse the various methods in use across the Atlantic Area in order to obtain a complete dataset on SSF fishing activity in the whole region, using a standardised methodology.
