CABFishMan’s Fisheries Natural and Cultural Heritage work theme contributes to enhancing the value of small-scale fisheries by providing tools and resources fort he design and assessment of community-led local development strategies. Such strategies serve as a means of promoting social well0being, cultural and natural heritage, and health tourism in coastal destinations.

This report demonstrates the importance of a comprehensive valuation of small-scale fisheries, and describes data used to estimate the direct, indirect and induced value of cultural services of such fisheries in the European Atlantic.
